Uptime

Site uptime check

Response code and load time from several points, and the redirect chain.

See the example: kava.com.ua

What we check

Response code, time to first byte, the redirect chain (http → https, www → non-www), and any change of IP address.

We check only the server’s HTTP response: no scripted scenarios, no page-content checks. Synthetic transactions and application monitoring aren’t our focus.

Frequently asked

How is this different from “real” uptime monitoring?

We look at the whole health of a domain — registry, DNS, certificate, mail — and site availability just rounds out the picture. Dedicated scenario testing and API monitoring are done better by other services.

Is ongoing monitoring free too?

A one-off check is. Watching a site every minute is a paid monitoring tier; the free tier covers the other five layers without the site.
