Domain transfer

Transferring a domain to ZRAZU

The registration term is added to what you already have, it doesn’t reset. Here’s an honest look at how transfer will work.

Domain transfer isn’t switched on in the product yet. This page describes the future process honestly, with no waiting-list signup, because there isn’t one yet.

How it will work

  1. Unlock the transfer

At your current registrar: turn off the clientTransferProhibited status in their panel or by contacting support.

  2. Get the transfer (EPP) code

Your current registrar issues the authorisation code. Transfer can’t start without it.

  3. Confirm the transfer

A confirmation email goes to both the domain owner and the WHOIS contact address. Without confirmation the transfer stops.

  4. Wait for it to complete

Timelines depend on the zone and registrar; your current registration term is added to the new one, not lost.

Transfer

A studio’s whole portfolio in one request

Managing client domains in bulk? Transferring an agency’s portfolio is a separate flow for the partner programme, not a one-domain-at-a-time process.

Common questions about transfer

Will my registration term be lost after transfer?

No. A transfer adds time to what’s already paid for — this is an ICANN requirement and the practice in Ukrainian zones, not our own service.

What if my registrar won’t remove the lock?

Only your current registrar can remove the transfer lock — it’s an anti-hijacking safeguard, not something on our side. Contact their support.

When will transfer be available at ZRAZU?

Transfer will arrive in one of the upcoming updates. There’s no firm date yet. We say so directly instead of promising one.
