How it works
- 01Add the domainEnter the domain in your ZRAZU account. It can be registered with any registrar.
- 02Set the name serversAdd the domain in your account — you’ll see your own three ZRAZU name servers. Set them at your registrar; that also confirms the domain is yours.
- 03We switch the zone onAs soon as the registry shows the change, we switch the zone on and carry the records over from your current DNS ourselves.

What's inside
Everything you need to run a zone day to day, and nothing extra.
Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, DMARC in monitoring mode, GitHub Pages and Vercel: a set of records in a few clicks.
Every change is kept. You can go back to any earlier version of the zone.
After an edit we check the records from outside. If the site or mail stops working, we email you within minutes.
Switch it on once the domain is on our name servers. For a domain at another registrar you add the DS record there, and your account shows the data you need.
Changes to a live zone are confirmed with a one-time code, and the domain contacts get an email about edits.
Download the zone as a file whenever you like. It is yours, and you are not locked in.

Is it really free?
Yes. ZRAZU DNS is free, with no expiry date and no card.
Do I need to transfer my domain?
No. The domain stays with your registrar; you only point it to your three ZRAZU name servers. You manage the zone records in ZRAZU.
What happens to my mail and website?
They keep working as long as the ZRAZU zone has all the records they need. After the zone is switched on we pull in the records we can read from the current zone, but before changing name servers review the full list and add anything missing. Nothing changes until the name servers are switched, so you can prepare the zone in advance.
How many domains can I add?
Up to 20 domains from other registrars per organization right away. The limit rises to 200 after the first payment for any service or once the organization has a domain registered with ZRAZU. Domains registered with ZRAZU do not count toward this limit.
Can I transfer the domain to ZRAZU later?
Yes, at any time. Terms and steps are on the domain transfer page.
